OEMs are striving to make components lighter, quieter, sustainable and more cost-effective. Ginho sees itself as the ideal partner to help meet these goals and we would love to start a dialogue with automotive manufacturers on our stand at GIFA – Hall 13, Stand E80.

With more than 150 engineers in materials, manufacturing and R&D, we have a wealth of expertise and experience, coupled with advanced simulation software to explore designs and solutions. Our operations span Asia, North America, Europe and the UK, so we can offer customers a global partnership, with access to our Chinese manufacturing capabilities via strategically located international divisions.

Ginho’s ability to optimise technology, processes and costs are among the essential principles of Value Added Value Engineering (VAVE). VAVE is not just something that is explored at the start of a customer’s concept; customers are able to gain advantages from VAVE initiatives throughout a project’s life.

Having brought hundreds of bespoke components to market for customers over the years, we have accumulated considerable experience in delivering new products to multiple sites globally, on time and in full. By adding value at every possible touchpoint, we provide a dedicated service for customers throughout a product’s launch process for both prototypes and serial volume business.

Chad Hempel, Managing Director

“We go where our customers want us!” So says Ginho America’s managing director Chad Hempel, and hence this thriving division is looking to expand across the Americas in 2023, with a new site and new recruits.

Chad’s team has ambitious plans and now that a number of newly won contracts have come online, the business is funding a programme of growth.

Chad joined Ginho in 2016 on the back of 30 years’ experience in the fabrication of various metals. His technical expertise and background bring many benefits, especially around his focus on delivering the best possible customer service and adding value in everything.

Specifically, as Ginho America extends its offer and invests in new facilities, Chad will be recruiting team members with warehouse, sales and accountancy skills.

Brandon Payne, Craig Dennis & James Twells

Giving team members great career opportunities is a top priority at Ginho – motivated employees deliver the best possible customer service and add the most value.

We are big fans of apprenticeship schemes and are delighted that Brandon Payne has joined us as apprentice admin assistant, working with Mandy Farrow in the HR & Admin team. As a school-leaver, this is Brandon’s first full-time job while also attending college.

James Twells has been promoted from a role in the warehouse to be our new sales estimator, supporting Jim Maiden and Stuart Lowe. Last month he went on his first European trip and loved it!

Craig Dennis has also been promoted from warehouse supervisor to be assistant supply chain manager, supporting Joshua Hancock-Brown.

As Patrons of Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce we were delighted to join an international trade visit to Germany to make new connections with international businesses. The chamber has a wealth of import/export knowledge to help with all aspects of the trading process and provides access to overseas chambers, Embassies, High Commissions and Consulates within the UK and across the world.

Jim Maiden, European Sales Manager

European sales manager Jim Maiden joined the business back in 2012 when the company was a UK start-up and trading as Yonghe Europe.

Jim has 28 years’ commercial experience, having started in stainless steel and non-ferrous products back in 1994.

After a period in financial services, he returned to metals in 2007 – specialising in the sale of tubular products and bespoke components to the automotive market. It is during this time that he developed a strong understanding of this sector.

Jim joined Yonghe Europe in November 2012, as the first employee of the Group outside China.

10 years on, Jim has played a key role in the growth and management of sales throughout the UK and Europe, while also supporting the development of global customer platforms for GINHO facilities in Germany and the USA.

As the business moves towards 2023, Jim’s focus is very much on further developing relationships with existing customers and also expanding into new areas.
